Proceeds to benefit F.I.S.H.(Friends in Service Here) of Sanibel, Inc. A 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization of neighbors 
helping neighbors on Sanibel and Captiva islands in Southwest Florida. We rely on our volunteers to share their time, resources, 
and talents with residents and visitors who need a helping hand, a caring friendship and needed services. F.I.S.H. has been 
operating on the islands since December, 1981.               

WHO DO WE HELP? We help people of all ages, from all walks of life; people who live and work on Sanibel and Captiva, as 
well as visitors to our islands.

Race Starts at 7:30 AM

Come out and enjoy running on the streets of beautiful Sanibel Island.  The race starts on Periwinkle Way to 
Casa Ybel Road to West Gulf Drive to Tarpon Bay Road to Island Inn Road to Tarpon Bay Road to Periwinkle 
Way and the Finish at the Community House.

6:30 AM at the Sanibel Community House

Temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-
alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms 
(dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate 
assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light-colored clothing.

This event is being timed with the AMB Chip timing system. All chips MUST be returned to the 
volunteers at the finishline or you will be billed for $80.00.

A variety of food and drink will be available to participants.
