3rd Annual Turtle Trot

Lovers Key State Park

This unique trail course takes runners through a shady maritime hammock ecosystem on a hard-packed 
shell path.  No part of the course requires running through beach sand.  The course ends at our pavilion 
over looking the beach where refreshments will be served and awards will be presented.

Temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-
alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms 
(dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate 
assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light-colored clothing.

This event is being timed with the AMB Chip timing system. All chips MUST be returned to the 
volunteers at the finishline or you will be billed for $80.00.

A variety of food and drink will be available to participants.
