PROCEEDS 
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Fort Myers Police Departments Fallen Office Memorial.  The 
memorial will be constructed in front or the police headquarters to honor those officers who sacrificed their 
lives to ensure that Fort Myers is a safer place.  The project was designed by students from Fort Myers High 
School and approved by the FMPD Fallen Office Memorial Committee.
 
TIME 
Race Starts 7:30 AM
 
COURSE DESCRIPTION 
The beautiful 5K course takes runners from through the downtown River District.

HEAT WARNING 
Temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-
alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms 
(dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate 
assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light-colored clothing.
 
T-SHIRT 
Participants receive a T-shirt.
 
REFRESHMENTS 
A variety of food and drink will be available for participants.
 
CHIP TIMING 
This event is being timed with the AMB Chip timing system. All chips MUST be returned to the 
volunteers at the finishline or you will be billed for $80.00.
