COURSE DESCRIPTION 
Both courses will take place entirely on the FGCU Campus. 
 
The 5k road race is designed around FGCU's outer loop road.
  
The 5k Trail run utilizes the access trails in FGCU's natural preserves.  Expect flat but varied terrain of grass, 
earth, tree limbs, stumps, cypress knees, and hog ruts.  Don't be afraid to get a little down and dirty.

ENTRY FEES 
FGCU staff and students to receive the discounted affiliate pricing use the paper entry 
form.

Pre-registration Prices:  $20 for the 5k (either one).
Combo prices:  $36 for both 5k events


Race Day Prices:  $25for the 5k (either one).
Combo prices:  $45 for both 5k events.

Road Race 6:00 am - 7:00 am at the FGCU Recreational Fields.  See the map above.

Trail Run Continuing until 8:00 am.
 
PACKET PICKUP 
April 7th, 4:00pm - 8:00 PM 
April 8th, 4:00pm - 6:00 PM 

at the FGCU Fitness Center at Alico Arena
 
HEAT WARNING 
Temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-
alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms 
(dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate 
assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light-colored clothing.
 
CHIP TIMING 
This event will be timed with the ChronoTrack  Bib Tag Technology. 

Your Timing Strip is attached to your race number.  Do not remove this tag, fold or wrinkle it or
your race number. Do not cover your race number (Tag) with a jacket.  Simply pin all four corners to your 
running shirt.
