Oak River 5K Run

The Oak River 5K Run will take place in beautiful Oak Hill, Florida just a few miles south of Edgewater and New Smyrna
Beach. The course will use paved roads with some overhead coverage.

5K Run will start at 8:00 am. The Kiddie Dash will begin as soon as the last 5K runner comes in.

Mary DeWees Park is located just off US-1 in Oak Hill.

From I-95:

Take exit 244 towards Edgewater. Merge onto FL-442/Indian River Blvd. Head east to US-1. Go south on US-1 towards Oak
Hill. Turn east on Halifax Ave (blinking light). Go north on Gaines St. to Mary DeWees Park.

The Oak River 5K Run will start and finish at Mary DeWees Park. Runners will head north on Gaines St. Then head east on
Canal Ave., until they come to River Dr. in which they will head south. They will continue until they come to Halifax
Ave. and head west back to Gaines St. On Gaines St. they will finish back at Mary DeWees Park.

Participants can pick up their race packet on January 29 between the hours of 5 pm - 9 pm at Boundaries & Barriers Fence
located at 1020 Clermont Street in New Smyrna Beach off Turnbull Bay Road OR on race day when registration opens at 6:00 am.

Medals will be given to the top three in each age groups for male and female and overall for male and female, All Kiddie
Dash participants will receive a ribbon upon completion.

Application

Gatorade and water will be on the course. Aid stations will be placed near each mile mark. The after race party will
feature refreshments.

Registrations paid and received by January 14 will receive a goodie bag and t-shirt. All registrations received after
January 14, t-shirt sizes will not be guaranteed.

ChampionChip Timing and scoring will be used for the 5K Run.
